Host Your Own Ring & Pendant Jewellery Making Workshop!
For Groups of 7 to 12 people.
Whether you're looking to organise a hen party, birthday party or just fancy getting your friend's or family together, a jewellery making workshop is an experience you'll always remember. So grab a group of your very favourite people for a creative workshop party at your own home or chosen location, learning the therapeutic ancient art of wax carving.
In this workshop you and your group will learn how to carve your own ring or pendant in jewellers wax during a relaxed and fun session. Your wax jewellery will then be cast in to solid sterling silver after the workshop and posted back to you. This is a beginners level class, so you don’t need any previous experience. Everyone will be able to create a piece of unique jewellery.

The workshop focuses on the ancient jewellery making technique of wax carving which is a really relaxing and therapeutic way to make jewellery - great for your wellbeing. You'll learn about the lost wax casting process and you will be provided with the tools you need to file, carve, and texture your ring or pendant.
What to Expect.
Not sure what design you could achieve? – no problem. - I will bring over inspiration moodboards and physical examples on the day of your workshop for you to look through and provide ideas. On the day you can also be given an extra piece of wax to practice with before committing to your final design.
(A pendant can be any size you would like up to no larger than 25mm diameter and the maximum width of the ring you will be able to make will be 8mm.)
By the end of the 2.5 hour workshop, you will all have created a wax master that I will send away to a specialist for casting a perfect replica of your designs in to recycled sterling silver. I will then hand polish and finish your jewellery pieces beautifully and post them back to you within 4 weeks.
If you prefer gold jewellery, you will also have the choice to have your jewellery plated over the silver with a very thick layer of solid 18k gold for an extra charge of £22 (+£10 for a gold plated chain charge if making a pendant) - payable on the day by either cash or card.

- Full workshop set up - all you need to provide is a table/tables and a space for everyone to sit at.

- All tools, equipment and materials
- Casting your jewellery piece in to sterling silver for you after the workshop
- Hand finishing and polishing of your ring or pendant (taking 1 hour of time for each piece)
- An 18 inch sterling silver chain, if making a pendant
- Your jewellery carefully wrapped and packaged in an organic cotton jewellery pouch
- Delivery of your jewellery piece back to you

If within Warwickshire, my travel will be free of charge. (If outside of the area, an additional charge will be added for travel costs dependent on location).
